Battle Stance

A very well written and documented post appeared on MMO-Champion by member Hothgor that shed some pretty interesting insight into the next World of Warcraft expansion, Cataclysm.

In the post on the MMO-Champion forums Hothgor shows screen shots of different graphics of globes found in Ulduar and Halls of Lighting. The graphics show planets whose continents bear a striking similarity to that of Azeroth. Althought the screen shots do indeed look like Azeroth, Blizzard is still being tight lipped about the forthcoming expansion and right now there are more theories about WoW: Cataclysm than who shot Kennedy.

So although the similarities are very compelling we’ll have to wait until there’s more evidence or Blizzard begins talking about the next expansion to World of Warcraft to really know if the in-game graphics are a teaser of what’s to come or just something thrown in by the design team on a whim.

I can tell you this for sure though, there are going to be lots of theories before all is said and done.
